Laurie’s practice focuses on civil litigation including cases involving business entities, intellectual property, and unfair competition. She has successfully handled a variety of civil cases at all stages from inception through trial, including winning a number of summary judgment motions on behalf of her clients. Prior to joining Parker Law Group, she defended companies in tort cases involving personal injuries, wrongful death, indemnification, and breaches of contract.
Laurie is admitted to practice law in all California state courts and the United States District Court for the Eastern, Central, and Southern Districts of California.
Laurie earned her Juris Doctor from the UCLA School of Law, where she was a member of the Moot Court Honors Board and was selected to participate in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition. She also earned the distinction of being named a finalist in the UCLA Roscoe Pound Oral Advocacy Tournament. Laurie was the Co-Chief Managing Editor of the Women’s Law Journal. During law school, Laurie interned at the Riverside County and Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Offices. Prior to attending law school, Laurie graduated from the University of California at San Diego with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Law and Society.
